2023 Grand Families Focus Group
Studios @ Setay & The Future is Now Initiative, a 501c3 Non-Profit organization invites grandparents who unexpectedly had to refocus their retirement plans to raise their grandchildren to RSVP and join us as part of a focus group to provide information on their physical and mental support needs.

About the event
The purpose of the focus group is to learn more about the grandparents' physical and emotional sacrifices to identify ways we can help relieve some of their stresses through physical and mental classes, events and programs.
As the owner of Studios @ Setay, a Healthy Lifestyle Center, Annette Yates met many grandparents as they brought their grandchildren to dance classes at her studio. Her first thought was they were standing in for their children who were at work.
After getting to know them, she realized the grandchildren lived with them due to their parents being incarcerated, or totally out of the daily lives of their children, etc. Our main focus is to provide mental and physical releases for these unselfish grandparents by offering well-deserved appreciation and support.
